A Bouquet from Prestige Flowers
Prestige flowers sell the most gorgeous bouquets, they have a special Mother’s Day range and even offer next day delivery for if you’ve left it just that little bit last minute! I was sent this beautiful bouquet and it really felt like Mother’s Day had arrived early. The flowers arrived well packaged in a pretty box and even came with a flower care guide so that I can enjoy them for as long as possible. You can also choose to add chocolates, a teddy or even a cheeky little bottle of champagne to your order to make Mother’s Day that extra bit special.
A Bottle of Fizz from Aldi
I’ve always loved Aldi for wines, champagne and spirits. The prices are crazy cheap considering that I can’t notice any difference in quality. More often than not I actually prefer the Aldi wine over another brand. Prices start from just £2.99 and the range is fantastic. They have brought out some gorgeous treats for Mother’s Day this year including Sparkling Rose Blossom, a low alcohol wine in the most beautiful bottle. There is also a special Gin and Tonic tasting kit if that’s more your Mum’s cup of tea. I won’t be partaking in the wine this year, for obvious reasons, but my mouth is watering just looking at this selection!
SLIM Wine from Slim Line Wines
Another wine, I know. I think I’m just torturing myself now! When I heard about the Slim Line Wines, I thought they were such a great idea and perfect as a treat for any Mums out there who are watching their weight (aren’t we all!). SLIM wine is a similar percentage to most wines at 10.5% but it only has 412 calories per bottle! And it’s suitable for vegans so everyone is happy! (Except preggers over here, who can’t wait to crack it open in four months time.)
Alcohol Free Wine from Botonique
The last wine I promise, and this is one that pregnant Mums can enjoy too this Mother’s Day! Botonique have created a unique alcohol free wine that is actually good for you. It contains a unique blend of vitamins, minerals and amino acids which means it is antioxidant, anti inflammatory and hydrating, all while tasting fantastic! You can pick up a bottle of this for only £6.99 at Ocado.
Moisturising Gel Gloves and Socks from JML
These moisturising gel socks and gloves are ideal for busy mums. The moisturising gel is coated inside the socks and gloves which means that you can just slip them on for 15 minutes for a quick, mess free pamper session. They can be reused and washed up to 40 times before they need replacing, so they are a bargain for £14.99. I love popping these on at the end of the day and my skin feels so much softer after using them which is amazing as I get such dry skin in this cold weather.
DermaEraze Miracle Oil
If your Mum loves a pamper then this oil would make a special treat for her this Mother’s Day. The oil was developed by Lorena Oberg, a Harley Street skin expert. It is made of all natural oils including olive, avocado and oil and is ideal for blemishes, dry skin, scarring and a whole host of other common skin complaints. It can also be used on hair to keep it soft and healthy.
Little Treats from Primark
I’m sure everyone has discovered the Primark home section by now, but every time I go in I am constantly amazed by the products they have on offer. When I went in the other day I was so impressed by their Mother’s Day range. It includes, candles, little fake plants (let’s be honest keeping kids alive is hard enough, let’s stick to fake plants!) and photo frames. The prices are so reasonable and lots of the products had lovely little Mother’s Day quotes on that would make your Mum’s day.
A Charitable Donation to Smile Train
If you fancy doing something a bit different for Mother’s Day this year then why not consider donating to a charity? Smile Train is a fantastic charity that helps give children in third world countries who were born with a cleft lip, a new smile. We are lucky in this country that if our children are born with a cleft lip, they will be treated on the NHS and we’ll be well taken care of. Smile Train is helping to make sure that children in less fortunate situations can have the same treatment.
How are you celebrating Mother’s Day this year?
