Pamper Products To Take The Stress Out Of Christmas

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas. Don’t get me wrong, I love Christmas, but even I’m getting a bit sick of the word. The run up to Christmas is my absolute favourite part but once we get to this point in December, the excitement turns to stress and I start realising how much I still need to do before Christmas and how much money we are going to end up spending even though we almost certainly shouldn’t. With that in mind I’ve decided to put together this list of some amazing pamper products that I think we all need in our lives to take the edge off the stress that is Christmas preparation. These could make excellent last minute gifts for anyone in your life that you think deserves a little pampering or maybe you should just treat yourself to a pre Christmas pamper. Whether you’re a busy mum, an overworked teacher or a hardworking nurse, we all deserve a little pick me up pamper session some days. I’ve got a wide range of products here so I’m hoping there will be something here for everyone.Nelsons Arnicare Bath & Massage Balm
This bath and massage balm has Primrose and Almond oil in it and so a couple of splashes in the bath makes it smell amazing and leaves your skin feeling so moisturised afterwards, at very little effort to yourself. The balm is scented with Lavender and Grapefruit and I love that the ingredients are all natural so you know they won’t be drying out your skin or contain any other nasties that we should probably all be staying away from.

Nelsons Calendula Cream
This is definitely my new favourite hand cream! It soaks in really nicely and doesn’t leave you sticky like so many hand creams do. It has a really subtle smell too so it doesn’t overpower any other scents you might be wearing. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and my hands are so much less dry now which is something I usually suffer a lot with in the winter.

TIANA Argan Fresh Coconut TLC, Intensive Hair Treatment
This hair treatment is a mixture of Argan oil and Coconut oil and is an absolute treat for your hair. Oil is especially good to use at this time of year when the cold air can make hair quite dry and prone to splitting. Nest time you’re in the bath, massage a load of this into your hair, sit back, relax and let it work it’s magic. My hair is quite fine and prone to looking greasy so I was apprehensive about using oil on it but it doesn’t make it look greasy at all, it just leaves it nourished and so, so soft!

7th Heaven Super Skin Essentials Face Masks
Who doesn’t love a face mask? To me a pamper evening is not complete without one and so why not treat yourself (or someone else if you are feeling nice) to one of 7th Heaven’s face mask goody boxes or hampers? I went for the Super Skin Essentials as it contains a lot of my favourites masks and it would make a great gift as there is something there to suit all skin types. Now I’ve got a nice little stash of face masks ready and waiting for me whenever I get the chance to switch off and relax.

Natur Boutique Lemongrass Tea
While you relax with your face mask, it’s the perfect time to put the kettle on and make yourself a cup of this Lemongrass Tea. It is organic and all natural, tastes amazing and is also known to help with relaxation. I think we all can think of somebody in our lives that could benefit from a cup of this!

Foot Pedi from Aldi
I’m sure I’m not the only person guilty of totally neglecting my feet in the Winter time. In the Summer I can manage a bit of foot maintenance but in the winter the best they get is a thick pair of fluffy socks. This Foot Pedi from Aldi is honestly incredible and is only £7.99. It is battery operated and means you can basically just sit back and let it do it’s thing without having to put in any physical effort like you do with a lot of foot scrubs and pumice stones. I believe it is sold out online but definitely keep an eye out next time you find yourself in ‘that’ aisle of Aldi.

More feet themed products but what better time to give them some TLC than Christmas time? We are all on our feet more around Christmas; rushing around doing last minute shopping, cooking Christmas dinner, running around after your toddler on their new trike or even squeezing your toes into a pair of heels for your Christmas party. The Superdrug Foot Scrub and Lotion are the perfect combination and are so affordable, as well as smelling fantastic. What’s not to love?
Superdrug Nourishing Foot Socks
These are honestly my favourite things on this whole list, when I put them on I think my feet actually drifted off to heaven. Sitting down on the sofa after a nice long bath with a pair of these on my feet was a highlight of my week, I don’t even care how lame that sounds. Find me a mum that doesn’t love to relax every once in a while and these are perfect excuse for just that as they literally force you to sit down for twenty minutes. They leave your skin silky smooth and nourished, ready for wherever the week might take you.

Charcoal Whitening Toothpaste
I always want to have whiter teeth. I think most of us do! I’m so envious of Darcie’s little pearly whites that haven’t been tainted by coffee stains and years of indulging on Pic n Mix (when will I learnt that it isn’t okay to have Pic n Mix for lunch?!). When I heard about these Charcoal Whitening Toothpastes I knew I had to try them. The actual toothpaste is black  and so when you use it and look in the mirror, you do feel kind of silly. But, just a few days in and I can already see a difference. The toothpaste is quite pricey but it’s a lot cheaper than going to the dentist and getting them professionally whitened so it’s definitely worth a go!

Nutri-Derma’s Organic Pillow Spray
This pillow spray smells absolutely fantastic and is the perfect way to drift off after an evening of pampering. The spray contains Lavender, Rosemary and Lemon and is made from Organic Essential Oils. I think this is an especially lovely little gift to give someone at Christmas time as it’s one of those little luxuries that we don’t always think to get for ourselves.

I would love to know, what are your favourite pamper products?

*This post contains products that were gifted to me but all opinions are my own and I would never include a product I didn’t genuinely love.
