Sleeping Like A Baby With Leesa & Get £100 Off Your Own New Mattress

I think we can all agree that getting a good night’s sleep becomes even more important when you are a parent. Gone are the days of lying in bed until noon on a Saturday or treating yourself to an early evening watching Netflix from the comfort of your blankets and pillows. These days sleep is scarce so I want to make sure that the hours we do get are quality even if they’re not a great quantity! Up until recently, we had been sleeping on the same mattress for around five years, it had suffered four house moves, two pregnancies and one toddler – let’s just say it had seen better days. It wasn’t a great quality mattress to begin with and time had not been kind to it. This is where Leesa came in!

Delivery & ‘Assembly’

We received our Leesa mattress promptly and it arrived packaged into a box that was so small that we questioned whether it could really contain a King Size mattress. I let Dan carry it up the stairs as I’m sure it wouldn’t have been a wise move for me to try at 8 months pregnant! Once out of the box, the mattress unrolled and began to expand. Ours was fully expanded within a couple of hours and we were able to sleep on it that night. Obviously a new mattress is a highly personal choice and we all have different tastes. For this reason Leesa do offer a trial period of a hundred days, throughout which you are free to send the mattress back for a refund if it’s not suitable for your needs.

Comfort

To say that we noticed a huge difference when we received our Leesa mattress would be the understatement of the century. They say it can take around a month to adjust to a new mattress but after only one night we both woke up feeling like newer, fresher versions of ourselves. I was pregnant at the time we received the mattress and suffering with significant back pain, and I could immediately tell that the Leesa mattress was supporting me in ways that our previous one hadn’t even come close to doing. After long days of looking after a toddler (and now a newborn!), I am always so excited to climb into bed but even more so now that we have this mattress that takes comfort to the next level.

Design

The mattress is made from three layers of foam, and each one has a specific purpose. The top layer is Cooling Avena Foam which provides airflow and enough bounce to allow freedom of movement. The middle layer is Pressure Relieving Memory Foam which delivers pressure relief and body contouring. The final layer is Dense Core Support which adds strength, durability and structure. Just writing all of that down makes me want to crawl back up the stairs and sink back into bed! The mattress is wrapped in a soft grey cover that features their signature four white stripe design. It’s definitely the most aesthetically pleasing mattress I’ve ever seen and it almost seems a shame to hide the design under our bedding.

A Charitable Ethos

I’m a huge supporter of any companies that have a charitable ethos so I was delighted when I found out that for every ten mattresses that Leesa sell, they donate one to organisations that provide shelter to homeless men and women. They also partner with The Arbor Day Foundation to plant one tree for every mattress sold.

I’ve teamed up with the lovely people at Leesa to offer all my readers an amazing £100 off your own new mattress. All you have to do is click here and enter code LITTLESNIPPETS for £100 off your own mattress. You can thank me when you’re having the best night’s sleep of your life!
