Christmas Gift Guide | Men

So here we are, post number three in Little Snippets Gift Guide Week. It’s the tricky one – it’s the men! If gift giving was split into categories X Factor Style, ‘The Men’ would be the category no one wants. That being said, I think I’ve done pretty well with ideas this year so hopefully I can help you by sharing them with you all. We’ve got a few of the classics in here but a couple of more imaginative ideas too. So without further ado, here are my top picks for men this year.

Victor’s Drinks | Pub At Home

The perfect novelty gift this Christmas. I think most men have, at some time, fantasised about brewing their own beer and the ‘Pub At Home‘ gives them the perfect opportunity. The kit is so easy (just add water!) and brews so quickly that it would be a fantastic gift for even the most impatient of recipients. I love this type of gift, that is a novelty item, but that also has a high enjoyment factor and would provide entertainment for all the family at Christmas.

Drinks By The Dram | The Scotch Whisky Advent Calendar

I’ve deliberately written my Christmas Gift Guides in November, so that I was in time to include this product. Drinks By The Dram have an incredible range of different advent calendars from vodka to gin, to tequila and whisky. They even have specific ones for different types of whisky including ‘The Very Old and Rare Whisky Calendar’ that has drams from expressions worth £19,000! I went for the classic ‘Scotch Whisky Calendar’ for the whisky connoisseur in my life and I just know how happy he will be to try each of the whiskies inside the calendar. This is a fantastic gift idea as it is something they can enjoy throughout the lead up to Christmas not just on the big day.

Thorntons | Selection Boxes

These are my ‘you really can’t go wrong’ item in this gift guide. A box of chocolates is the perfect gift for anyone this Christmas but especially for a hard-to-buy-for man in your life. Thorntons have a range of different selection boxes so you can find something to suit everyone’s tastes. There are also a range of different sized boxes, meaning that there is something to suit all budgets too.

Baylis & Harding | For Him

Who doesn’t love a gift set? I often give female pamper gift sets for Christmas but never think to give them to men too. But let’s not forget that men secretly (or not so secretly…) love to pamper too! The Baylis & Harding scents are stunning and this black pepper & ginseng set is particularly divine. It is such a luxurious and manly scent; if you buy it for your partner then it’s more a gift for you because they’re just going to smell so good!

Living DNA | Ancestry DNA Test

If you are looking for a present idea outside of the box (sorry not sorry for the pun!) this year, then this is the gift for you. Living DNA is an ancestry DNA kit which can tell a persons entire geographical ancestry from just a simple mouth swab. I know a fair few people in my life who would find this kind of thing fascinating and it is just the perfect idea for something totally different this Christmas.

Philips | OneBlade

Again, you can’t really go wrong with this. What man wouldn’t want a fancy new grooming tool for Christmas? The OneBlade is for both face and body and has three different length click on stubble combs. Whatever look the man in your life is going for, this can help him to achieve it. It is water resistant and has a long lasting battery life as well as revolutionary technology that means it can trim, edge and shave any length of hair.

Celia Dark Lager

Why not give a new lager as a gift this Christmas? I see Christmas as the perfect opportunity to introduce people to new things that they might not think to pick up and try otherwise. Celia Dark Lager is a great example of this and it is actually gluten free so could be a fab gift for someone who struggles to find a gluten free tipple that tickles their fancy – try saying that after one too many of these!

Woody’s | Male Grooming

Another grooming product but this is a brand that was new to me so I wanted to share it in my guide. Woody’s is a simplistic ‘no frills’ brand of men’s grooming products that would be perfect for the man in your life who just likes to get the job done. No fuss. That being said, the products still smell absolutely gorgeous and would make a great gift or stocking filler this year.

What are you buying for the men in your life?
