Ernest Grayson Street

I’m so pleased to finally be able to introduce my son to the world.

Ernest Grayson was born shortly after 7am on the 4th of July 2018 and weighed a huge 10lbs 6oz. He surprised us all, not only with his size but also by coming into the world facing upwards, winking at his Daddy.

Darcie has taken to her role as a big sister as well as we knew that she would. She loves to hold his hand and pat his tummy when he cries. He’s learnt to put up with the noise from his crazy big sister and I just know they’ll be the best of friends.

Ernie is such a relaxed baby compared to Darcie. I can’t help but wonder if that’s down to his size, the fact he’s a boy or just that he’s a different baby. It’s amazing how the two same people can create two such different babies! So far he feeds well, sleeps well and is an absolute dream to be around.

I’ll be writing my birth story in all its glory over the next couple of weeks but for now I just wanted to introduce him, our Ernie Gray.
